Creativity is my life force. For an artist or sculptor to successfully express themselves there has to be passion. Passion ignites the flame of creativity that lies deep within the soul that is itself connected to all that is. I paint, draw and now sculpt with driftwood because I love it. Having taught courses in drawing and painting from my studio in England for many years, I am now able to spend more time in Italy concentrating upon my own work.

I embrace a wide palette of subject matter and although watercolour for its spontaneity and freshness is my first choice, pastels and oils have their place in my repertoire too and latterley the joys of working with driftwood collected from the local beaches in Le Marche, Italy.

I have exhibited locally on the Wirral and at the “Hanover Gallery” in Liverpool. I have clients in several countries who have either bought my work or commissioned paintings.

Wirral Open Studio Tour (WOST) 2019

Not long to go now until this year’s WOST event and I can’t wait!

I loved every minute of it last year and hope to see many more of you in my home ‘gallery’ in West Kirby (at 44a Brookfield Gardens, CH48 4EL) over the two days of the event this year.

I’ll have lots of my original paintings available to purchase as well as some prints and greetings cards too.

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.
